It came a month later but it was worth it. We are talking about Samsung Chromebook 2 witch you can buy it in 2 versions: 11-inch or 13-inch model. We can describe it in three simple words: cheap, thin and powerful. If we compare it with Toshiba CB30 Chromebook we’ll realize that is thinner and lighter (about 3 pounds and 0.65 inches thick) than Toshiba CB30 which is about 3.3 pounds and 0.8 inches thick. The starting price for Samsung Chromebook 2 will be $ 320 for the 11 inch model and $ 400 for the 13 inch model .
Samsung Chromebook 2 at first look
As usual Samsung used fake leather . I think Samsung have a ” leather fetish ” . But don’t laugh about it until you try it . It makes Samsung Chromebook 2 a premium feel . Beside that, the fake leather does a good job in hiding scratches and fingerprints marks. If you flip it over you’ll notice that the bottom is made of plastic . I don’t think this is a problem , since many other models use the same material, and at this price it was expected. On the sides you will find the usual ports for a laptop . On the left is the standard power plug along with a USB 2.0 port , 1xHDMI port and a microSD card slot . On the right side we have a lock slot , USB 3.0 port and a headphone / mic jack .
Display
As I said above, Samsung Chromebook 2 comes in 2 version models: 11 inch and 13 inch . For the 13 inch model Samsung relied on a Full HD screen , which makes it the only Chromebook on the market with a display so good compared to its price . The bad news is that you will have problems if you want to watch something from a wide- angle. Move the display a little forward and you may have difficulties reading a text or colors start to wash out. Fortunately the side angles are better. So if you want to watch a movie with your friends and they are in side angles you will not have any problems .
Keyboard and touchpad
Samsung Chromebook 2 has a soft keyboard which makes writing to be nearly silent . It has a standard Chrome OS layout, with 74 black keys and white letters . The touchpad is large and beautiful , with planty of space for your fingers . Samsung may be the best at this .

Speakers
The speakers are located on the bottom of the device. You will be pleasantly surprised by their quality. Although they are very small the sound is very clear even at high volume.
